Privacy policy
Effective 6 October 2026. The short version: we don’t track you.
What we collect
Nothing that identifies you directly. The site has no accounts, no sign-up forms and no cookies, and at launch it runs no analytics and no advertising. We don’t sell or share visitor data, because we don’t gather it.
What your browser remembers
When you pick a currency, your browser saves that choice in local storage on your own device, so your next visit opens in the same currency. It is never sent to us. You can remove it at any time by clearing this site’s data in your browser settings.
Services the page connects to
To show live prices, the page in your browser connects directly to:
- Coinbase, for the live price feed (a WebSocket connection) and for currency exchange rates.
- CoinGecko’s image server, for the coin logos in the tables.
As with any website request, these connections let those services see your IP address and basic browser details. Their own privacy policies cover what they do with that information.
Fonts are hosted on our own server, so no font service sees your visit.
Server logs
Our hosting provider, Hostinger, keeps standard server logs, such as the IP address, the page requested, the time and the browser type. Logs like these are a normal part of running a website and help with security and fixing faults.
