One euro price for many countries
The euro is shared by a large group of countries, so a single euro price for Bitcoin applies in all of them. Whether you are in Dublin or Athens, the euro figure for one coin is identical at a given moment. Only the way it is written may change, and no conversion step is needed between euro countries.
That number is the price of one entire bitcoin. It is a reference value rather than an entry ticket: the coin divides into 100 million satoshis, and plenty of purchases are worth just a few euros.
Commas, dots and where the € goes
Many euro countries write numbers the opposite way to English sites, with dots between thousands and a comma before the cents, and the euro sign after the amount. So 12.345,67 € and €12,345.67 are the same sum. This site uses the English style: commas for thousands, a dot for cents, sign in front.
If a figure looks a thousand times too small or too large, check the separators first. A stray comma is the usual culprit when people copy a price from a site in one style into a spreadsheet set up for the other. The amount itself never changes, only the punctuation.
1 BTC to EUR, and smaller slices
For part of a coin, multiply. 0.1 BTC is a tenth of the live price and 0.001 BTC is a thousandth. In the other direction, €1 converts to about 1,344 sats right now, so €10, €50, €100 and €1,000 in the table are simple multiples of that.
The Bitcoin calculator takes any amount, and the satoshi page explains the smallest unit and why it is handy for small balances. Sats keep small sums readable: 25,000 sats and 0.00025 BTC are identical, but one is far easier to say.
Why the cents differ from one site to the next
Price feeds don’t all use the same trades or the same euro-dollar rate, and they refresh at different moments. That is why two sites can show a slightly different euro price in the same second. Our notes on price sources explain the figure on this page. Also check the time stamp, because a cached page from earlier in the day can be noticeably out of date.
The record euro price so far is €107,662.00, set on 6 October 2025. Earlier years are on the price history page.
